Article Processing Charges (APCs), Open Access & Waiver Policy

1. Open Access Policy

The International Journal of Management Thinking (IJMT) is a Gold Open Access journal published by United Frontiers Publisher (UFP). All articles are freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication without subscription fees or access restrictions. The journal strictly follows the Open Access model as defined by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and supports the structural repository and licensing frameworks mandated by the Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing, ensuring all articles are permanently published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.

Unless otherwise stated, articles are published under the official Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License. This allows unrestricted use, distribution, adaptation, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

2. Article Processing Charge (APC)

To support editorial management, peer review, manuscript production, DOI registration, online publication, indexing, digital archiving, and long-term preservation, The International Journal of Management Thinking (IJMT) charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 200 per accepted manuscript.

Transparency Principles

No Submission or Review Fees: Authors are not charged for manuscript submission or peer review.
Payable After Acceptance: The APC is payable only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.
Editorial Independence: Editorial decisions are based solely on academic merit and are independent of APC payments.

3. APC Waiver and Discount

Through the UFP Academic Development Initiative, eligible authors experiencing genuine financial constraints may apply for an APC waiver or discount.

Applications are assessed individually in accordance with the United Frontiers Publisher APC Waiver Policy and are subject to eligibility verification and approval.
