The International Journal of Management Thinking (IJMT) employs a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, integrity, and scholarly contribution of all published research. In the double-blind review system, the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process.
Initial Editorial Screening
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine whether they fall within the journal's scope and comply with the journal's submission requirements, ethical standards, and formatting guidelines. At this stage, manuscripts may also be screened for plagiarism, similarity, ethical compliance, and overall academic suitability. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's requirements may be returned to the authors for correction or rejected without external review.
Reviewer Selection
Manuscripts that successfully pass the editorial screening are assigned to independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript's subject area. Reviewers are selected based on their academic qualifications, research experience, publication record, and subject-matter expertise. The journal takes reasonable measures to avoid conflicts of interest during the review process. Reviewers assess manuscripts based on:
Editorial Decisions

The final publication decision remains the responsibility of the editorial team.
Revision Process
Authors receiving revision requests should submit a revised manuscript together with a detailed response explaining how reviewer comments have been addressed. Revised manuscripts may be returned to reviewers for further evaluation where necessary.
Final Acceptance and Publication
Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, proofreading, DOI registration, metadata preparation, and production prior to publication.
Publication Timeline
While processing times may vary, the journal aims to provide timely editorial decisions and efficient publication of accepted manuscripts. The review process typically takes between 4 and 8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the extent of revisions required.
Ethical Standards
All editors and reviewers are expected to comply with the journal's Ethical Guidelines and Publication Ethics Statement. The journal follows the principles and recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in handling peer review, complaints, conflicts of interest, and research misconduct investigations.
